Karen
Lead Pastor
Karen’s heart is one of a servant and she is one of the most thoughtful, generous and caring people you could ever hope to meet. She is an amazing mother, and besides her devoted relationship to God, she loves her wee family the most in life. She is a diligent, hard worker and typically does the equivalent of several people’s work in any given day. Often for a challenge she stays up past 10pm and tries to sleep standing up. Karen enjoys eating most things that are made of chocolate, especially if they aren’t hers. Karen is a true pastor, a spiritual mother to many and loves people really well. She is a gifted communicator, passionate worshipper and totally adores God. She has a heart to see people encounter God in a real and life changing way, and is thrilled to be leading Presence Church. She can’t wait to see what God does in Cork and in Ireland through God’s people and those who are a part of Presence Church.
Shane
Lead Pastor
Shane loves seeing people come more alive and free, especially in a way that influences culture. He is an adventurous chap, typically roots for the underdogs, and loves most things that are purple. He plays the guitar, loves all Transformers related things and his kids are the apple of his eye. He likes to relax by reading, playing guitar, playing Uncharted on his Playstation or usually listening to Alter Bridge or anything that Myles Kennedy or Mark Tremonti are involved in. His favourite foods are meats and he has a particular affinity for most apple flavoured sweets. He is passionate about seeing God become more real and revealed as a loving Father in the earth through God’s children. He longs to see people reach their God-given potential, and his heart is to challenge anything that interferes with the love and presence of God. Shane is a futurist, has a heart that burns for revival and cultural transformation, a lover of people, and he really loves leading Presence Church.
